Installing the heat sink

1 Place the heat sink to align with the screw holders on the system board.

2 Tighten the screws to secure the heat sink to the system board.

3 Install the:

a system board

b system fan

c display cable

d palmrest

e keyboard

f memory

g WLAN card

h hard drive assembly

i base cover

j battery

4 Follow the procedure in After Working Inside Your computer.

Removing the display assembly

1 Follow the procedure in Before Working Inside Your Computer.

2 Remove the:

a battery

b base cover

c hard drive assembly

d WLAN card

e memory

f keyboard

g palmrest

h display cable

i power connector port

j system fan

k system board

3 To remove the display assembly:

a Remove the rubber on both sides of the computer [1].

b Remove the screws that secure the display assembly to the chassis [2].

c Lift and remove the display assembly from the chassis [3].
