Steps
1. Align and place the battery from the left side on the computer.
2. Replace the three screws (M2x4) that secure the battery to the palm-rest assembly and keyboard assembly.
3. Connect the battery cable to the system board.

2. Install the microSD card.

NOTE: The removal and replacement procedure of battery cable is same for 3-cell and 4-cell battery.
Removing the battery cable
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Enter service mode.
3. Remove the SIM card
4. Remove the microSD card.
5. Remove the base cover.
6. Remove the battery.
NOTE:
If battery is disconnected from system board for service, then there is a delay during system boot-up as the system
undergoes RTC battery reset.
