Decoding Illumination

Selecting Enable Decoding Illumination causes the barcode scanner to turn on illumination every image
capture to aid decoding. Select Disable Decoding Illumination to prevent the barcode scanner from using
decoding illumination.
Enabling illumination usually results in superior images. The effectiveness of illumination decreases as the
distance to the target increases.
NOTE Changing this parameter while using Presentation Mode, with or without Motion Enhancement, is not
recommended.
