Removing the solid state drive

1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.

2. Remove the base cover.

3. Remove the battery.

NOTE:

This procedure illustrates a M.2 2280 SSD. M.2 2230 SSD is secured to the palmrest with special bracket and

plate.

Loosen the three captive screws that secure the SSD bracket to the palmrest [1].

2. Remove the SSD plate from the top of the SSD [2].
