Modular Bay
Your computer comes with a floppy driveinstalledinthemodularbay.Touseanotherdeviceinthemodularbay,firstremovethefloppydrive(see
"Swapping Devices While the Computer Is Off" or "Swapping Devices While the Computer Is On.")
NOTICE: When drives are not inside the computer, they are fragile and must be handled carefully to avoid damage. Do not press
down on the drives or place heavy objects on top of them. Place the drives in a travel case to keep them free of dust and liquids.
Store the drives in a safe place.
Youcaninstallthefollowingmodulesinthemodularbay:
l Second battery
l Floppy drive
l CD drive
l DVD drive
l CD-RW drive
l SuperDisk drive
l Zip drive
l Second hard drive
To make the computer as light as possible, use the travel module in the modular bay in place of any of the available drives.
Swapping Devices While the Computer Is Off
NOTICE: If the computer is docked, undock it before installing or removing a drive. For instructions, see the docking device
documentation.
1. If the computer is docked, undock it.
2. Close the display and turn the computer over.
3. Remove the device.

or,eventually,aburn.
