Heat Sink
Removing The Heat Sink
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working On Your Computer.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Remove the back panel.
4. Remove the CPU door.
5. Loosen the screws on the heat sink.
6. Lift the heat sink and remove it from the computer.

1. Tighten the screws as per the numerical sequence on the heat sink module.
Ensure that the heat sink is correctly aligned and seated over the processor.
2. Replace the CPU door.
3. Replace the back panel.
4. Replace the battery.
