Release Notes

New releases are created to support new hardware platforms, correct defects, make enhancements, or add new features. These releases

are tested and supported on current, actively shipping hardware platforms, and those hardware platforms that are within their rst year

after their ocial End-of-Life date, as applicable. After the one year time period, new software releases are no longer certied for use with

the earlier version of the hardware, even though it is possible that they may still work. This allows us to advance our product with features

and functions that might not have been supported by the previous hardware, with previous generation CPUs and supporting components.

Release type and denition

This WES7P v9.06 English build 7049 is a 64–bit image that supports Dell Latitude E7270 mobile thin client. The product oered through

the Dell Latitude E7270 development program provides a mobile thin client oer for Dell Wyse by delivering Windows Embedded 7P (64-

bit) on selected enterprise-class Dell Latitude models.

This build can be pushed on 128 GB SSD with 8 GB RAM.

Dell Thin Client Application • Dell Client Application is a replacement for Client Information Application with a new User Interface (UI). • This application contains additional fields for accessing and configuring Custom Fields, RAM Disk, Auto Logon, C-A-D Map Tool, and System Shortcuts. • By default, the RAM disk size is set to 512 MB.
