40 USC and USC - LCE
For CIFS
Share Name
— Type the path to the shared folder where the
respository is located. For example, for a catalog file, type
\\xxx.xxx.xx.xx\Catalog
, and for a share folder, type
\\xxx.xxx.xx.xx\Share
.
Domain and User Name
— Type the correct domain and user
name required to log on to the network share. For example,
myDomain\login-name
, and if there is no domain, type the login-
name.
Password
— Type the correct password.
Catalog Location or Update Package Path
— If you have the
DUP, type
firmware\APP_WIN_RYYYZZZ.EXE
, or if you have
the
catalog.gz
file, you need not enter the file name, instead type
the sub-directory if any.
NOTE: If the catalog file and DUP are downloaded from ftp.dell.com, do
not copy them into a sub-directory.
For NFS
Share Name
— Type the path to the shared folder where the

Test Network Connection
to verify if USC-LCE is able to connect to
the IP address that you provided. By default, it pings the Gateway and
DNS server IP.
