ESXi Configuration
Enabling CIM OEM Providers
To receive the health information (reported in the Dell Management
Console monitor) from the ESXi server, enable the
CimOemProvidersEnabled configuration setting (set to value 1), and restart
the Management Agents for the first time after the ESXi installation.
To enable CIM OEM providers:

Download and install the RCLI tools from the VMware website at
vmware.com/go/remotecli/).

Run the following VmWare RCLI command from a remote Windows or
Linux server:
vicfg-advcfg.pl --server <ip_address> --username <user_name> --
password <password> --set 1 Misc.CimOemProvidersEnabled

Restart the Management Agents from the ESXi server Direct Console User
Interface (DCUI) menu or reboot the server.
NOTE: You can also set the CimOemProvidersEnabled property using VI
Client (Configuration
Software Advanced Settings Misc Enable
OEM Providers).
Dell Management Console Configuration
Secure Deployment Mode - Connecting to WSMAN over HTTPS
The following configurations are required in Dell Management Console to
connect to WS-MAN running in secure mode on the ESXi servers:

A WS-MAN credential set is created using Credential Manager.
Only one set of credentials is required if all of the ESXi servers have the
same username and password settings.

A connection profile with the WS-MAN protocol is enabled and the
following settings are applied:
a
The credential set is created as described in step 1.

The Secure mode is selected.
