12 Installation Instructions and Important Information
The Select Operating System to Install dialog box appears.
If RAID is
not configured on your system or to change the existing
RAID configuration, perform the following steps:
a Select one of the following options:
• RAID 0
• RAID 1
• RAID 5
• RAID 10
• Run Array Manager
b If you selected Run Array Manager , click Continue .
The
Dell OpenManage Array Manager window appears.
See your Dell OpenManage Array Manager documentation for
information about configuring your RAID arrays.
If you
did not select Run Array Manager , type a virtual disk size in
megabytes (MB) in the
Select RAID Virtual Disk Size dialog box
and click
Continue .
NOTE: The Select RAID Virtual Disk Size field displays the maximum size
of the virtual disk in megabytes.
If your system is configured with a virtual disk, the following
message appears:
One or more virtual disks have been found!
Are you sure you want to delete the existing
virtual disk?
c Click Yes to continue.
The
Select Operating System to Install dialog box appears.
6 Select Microsoft Windows 2000 and click Continue .
The
Configure Hard Drive window appears.
