25 Select one of the following options:
• No, this computer is not a network or is on a network without
a domain. Type a workgroup name in the following box.
This option requires you to assign a workgroup name to your
system and allows any system on the LAN with the same workgroup
name to connect to your system.
Enter a workgroup name, and click
Next .
• Yes, make this computer a member of the following domain:
Type the appropriate domain name, and click Next . The Join
Computer to
<your_domain_name> Domain window appears.
Type a domain administrator user name and password, click
OK ,
and then click
Next .
NOTE: You must have administrator rights to join the domain.
Windows Setup continues with the installation and then restarts
your system.
NOTE: This procedure may take several minutes.
The Completing the Windows 2000 Setup Wizard appears.
26 Remove the Microsoft Windows 2000 Server CD from the CD drive.
27 Click Finish .
Windows Setup restarts your system.
After restart, the
Welcome to Windows window appears.
28 Press <Ctrl><Alt><Delete>.
The
Log On to Windows dialog box appears.
29 Type your administrator password, and click OK .
You have successfully installed your operating system.
