ethernet cfm mep
Create an MEP.
Syntax
ethernet cfm mep {up-mep | down-mep} domain {name | level} ma-
name name mepid mep-id
Parameters
[up-mep | down-
mep]
Specify whether the MEP is up or down facing.
Up-MEP: monitors the forwarding path internal to a
bridge on the customer or provider edge; on Dell
Networking systems, the internal forwarding path is
effectively the switch fabric and forwarding engine.
Down-MEP: monitors the forwarding path external to
another bridge.
domain [name |
level]
Enter the keyword domain and then enter the domain name
or domain level.
ma-name name Enter the keyword ma-name and then enter the name of the
maintenance association.
mepid mep-id Enter an MEP ID. The range is from 1 to 8191.
