a. Fan module installation

Fan module replacement

To request a hardware replacement, see https://www.dell.com/support.

CAUTION: Complete the following steps within one minute or the platform temperature could rise above safe thresholds

and the platform could shut down:

1. Squeeze the two orange levers on the fan module together to unlock the module. With the two orange levers squeezed, pull and slide

the fan module out of the bay.

2. Slide the replacement module into the bay.
