The Dell EMC Virtual Edge Platform VEP4600 is a networking platform that is purpose-built, future-ready, and validated for next
generation access deployments.
The VEP4600 is a single-socket, 1RU platform that offers hosted virtualized network functionality, with applicability for the Service
Provider Edge and Enterprise Branch. The VEP4600 uses the latest Intel Xeon D-2100 x86-based processor.
The VEP4600 features:

Four dual in-line memory module (DIMM) slots, up to 128 GB
Two M.2 solid-state drive (SSD) slots
Two mezzanine slots based on PCI3 x16 gen 3

Out-of-band management ports
Kernel-based virtual machine (KVM), ESXi hypervisors, with native Linux and Versa OS support
