SNMP MIBs
Dell Networking OS supports SNMP MIBs on the S4810, S4820T, S3048–ON, S4048–ON, S4048T–ON, S5000, S6000, S6000–ON,
S6010–ON, S6100–ON,Z9100–ON, Z9500, MXL, and FN IOM platforms.
Overview
A MIB is a hierarchy of information which denes managed objects in a network device. The MIB structure is based on a tree structure,
which denes a grouping of objects into related sets. Each object in the MIB is associated with an object identier (OID), which names the
object.
The agent and MIB reside on the switch. Enabling the SNMP agent requires the denition of the manager-agent relationship. The agent
contains MIB variables whose values the manager can request or change. The agent gathers data from the MIB and responds to requests

Installing SNMP MIBs
To install the SNMP MIBs, follow these steps.
Smart Scripting is a pre—requisite for using SNMP MIB package. Install the Smart Scripting package before you run the MIBs.
1 On a PC or other network device, go to the Dell EMC Networking web portal at https://www.force10networks.com/CSPortal20/
Main/SupportMain.aspx
. Enter your User Id and Password, and click Login .
2 Click the Software Center tab.
3 From the left pane, click Automation Software.
4 To accept the DELL End User License Agreement, at the lower end of the page, click I Agree. Open Automation Software packages
are listed.
5 From the SNMP MIB PACKAGES, select and download the le corresponding to the switch from the following list:
• SNMPMIB-P-9.14.1.0.tar.gz for S4810, S4820T, and S5000
• SNMPMIB-I-9.14.1.0.tar.gz for S3048–ON, S4048–ON, S4048T–ON, S5048F–ON, S6000, S6000–ON, S6010–ON,
S6100–ON, Z9100–ON, and Z9500
• SNMPMIB-A-9.14.1.0.tar.gz for S3100 series
• SNMPMIB-M-9.14.1.0.tar.gz for IOA, MXL, and FN IOM
6 Dell EMC Networking OS supports the following SNMP MIBs (may vary depending on the platform):
