PERC 5/E Adapter
The PERC 5/E Adapter supports the following Dell PowerEdge systems: 840, 860, 1850, 1900, 1950, 2850, 2900, 2950, 2970, 6800, 6850, 6950, and R805.
The PERC 5/E Adapter supports the following Dell PowerVault systems: PowerVault 100, PowerVault 500, and PowerVault 600.

server, SP4 for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server version 9, and SP2 for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server version 10. Dell OpenManage version 6.0.1 supports only
Update 7 of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4, Update 2 of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 server, and SP2 for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server version 10.
NOTE: The RAID cards support both 32- and 64-bit versions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems and only 64-bit versions of the SUSE Linux
Enterprise Server operating systems. However, ia64 versions of any operating system are not supported.

