l Dell OpenManage Server Administrator
Dell OpenManage Server Administrator is a comprehensive, one-to-one systems management solution, designed for system administrators, to manage
systems locally and remotely on a network.
Server Administrator comprises the following services:
l Instrumentation Service
l Remote Access Service
l Storage Management Service

l Dell Systems Build and Update Utility
Dell Systems Build and Update Utility is designed to speed up the setup and performance of Dell systems. Dell Systems Build and Update Utility provides
a series of intuitive and easy-to-follow interview screens that help guide you through the server installation process.

Supported Dell OpenManage Systems Management Software on Microsoft Windows
Operating Systems
Table2-1 lists the supported Dell OpenManage 6.0.1 installation and systems management software on systems running supported Microsoft®Windows®
operating systems.
l An X in the intersection of the operating system and the Dell system columns indicates that Server Administrator and Dell Systems Build and Update
Utility are supported on that operating system for the corresponding system.
l An A in the intersection of the operating system and the Dell system columns indicates systems that support Dell Systems Build and Update Utility but
not Server Administrator.
l An asterisk (*) in the intersection of the operating system and the Dell system columns indicates operating system support for Dell systems that do not
support Dell OpenManage software.
