documentation included with Server Administrator.

To avoid this issue, you must disable OS Install Mode before running the application. If you have to uninstall and reinstall the operating system SNMP service, then reinstall Server Administrator, so that the Server Administrator SNMP agents are registered with the operating system SNMP agent.

Issues of Server Administrator on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server Linux Operating Systems • • JIT-117641: BIOS Setting page may be missing certain categories while Secure Boot is enabled. This is due to SLES 15 security requirements. JIT-129751: Server Administrator and Storage Management AppLaunch are missing in OpenManage Essentials. Restart DSM SA Data Manager service to resolve this issue.

BITS054513: On a system running Windows, while running CLI commands using telnet from a system running Linux, the telnet session may terminate if the amount of data being transferred is huge.

• • • • • • For complex omconfig CLI commands that contain multiple set commands in one command line, the CLI may report a success status for the command even if a part of the command failed. To avoid this issue, run only one command per command line. The current settings can be confirmed by performing the corresponding omreport command. Some complex omconfig CLI commands that contain multiple set operations have been modified to avoid the above problem.

Solution: Use a supported web browser other than Internet Explorer 9.x or 10.x or use the Storage Management command line interface (CLI) to create the virtual disk. • JIT-96670: On systems running VMware operating systems if the sfcbd-watchdog is stopped abruptly before completion of the SNMP traps for storage task is logged. Semaphore leak is observed. Workaround: Run the sfcbd-watchdog until SNMP traps for storage task is completed. • JIT-96484: Auto Config RAID 0 task fails and displays improper error message, when there are no free drives to create RAID 0 virtual disks on the server. Exit the wizard of the error page as Server Administrator log out.

• JIT-112768 : On systems running Suse Linux Enterprise 15.0 operating system the device protocol of Intel NVMe P4800x devices displays NVMe 0.0 instead of NVMe 1.0. • JIT-113374: While creation of R10, R50 and R60 virtual disks the Storage Management does not display the dedicated hot-spare suggestions for all disks, if the user selects different size of physical disks as part of virtual disk creation.

• • JIT-155954: While hot-plug-in mulitple drives of MX5016s physically, wait for each insert alert to avoid the wrong enumeration. Work around: Restart the Data manager service to get the updated enumeration. JIT-156411: On PowerEdge R7525 when multiple NVMe drives hot plugged while PTR is in progress, observing wrong enumeration of NVMe drives on OMSA page. This is observing only when Toshiba drive is part of either hot plug operation or PTR (Prepare to remove).
