Removing the hard drive assembly

1 Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.

2 Remove the following components:

a Stand

b Back cover

3 To remove the hard drive assembly:

a Press down the tab securing the hard drive assembly to the system board shield [1].

b Slide and lift the hard drive assembly from the slot on the display assembly base [2].
