Removing the heat sink - dGPU

NOTE

: Perform the following steps to remove heat sink for discrete graphics processing unit (dGPU).

Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.

2 Remove the following components:

a Stand

b Back cover

c System board shield

d System fan

3 In the reverse order (as indicated on the heat sink), loosen the nine captive screws that secure the heat sink to the system board and

display assembly base [1].

4 Lift the heat sink o the system board and display assembly base [2].
