Hard drive

Removing the hard drive assembly

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.

2. Remove the following components:

a) Stand

b) Back cover

3. To remove the hard drive assembly:

a) Press down the tab securing the hard drive assembly to the system board shield [1].

b) Slide and lift the hard drive assembly from the slot on the display assembly base [2].
