3. To disconnect the speakers:

a) Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board [1].

b) Remove the nine screws (M3x4+7.1) that secure the speakers to the display-assembly base [2].

c) Unroute the speaker cable from the routing guide on the display assembly base.

d) Lift the speakers and the speaker cable off the display assembly base [3].

Installing the speakers

1. To replace the speakers:

a) Place the speakers on the display assembly base and align the screw slots on the speakers with the screw slots on the display

assembly base [1].

b) Replace the nine screws (M3x4+7.1) that secure the speakers to the display assembly base [2].

c) Route the speaker cable through the routing guides on the display assembly base.

d) Connect the speaker cable to the socket on the system board [3].
