Usage
Information
The Helper mode is enabled by default on the device. To enable the restart mode also on the device, you
must configure the grace period using this command. After you enable restart mode the router advertises
the neighbor as fully adjacent during a restart.
graceful-restart helper-reject
Specify the OSPF router to not act as a helper during graceful restart.
Syntax
graceful-restart helper-reject ip-address
To return to default value, use the no graceful-restart helper-reject command.
Parameters
ip-address
Enter the OSPF router-id, in IP address format, of the restart router that will not
act as a helper during graceful restart.
Defaults Not configured.
