Routing Information Protocol (RIP)
Routing information protocol (RIP) is a distance vector routing protocol. The Dell EMC Networking OS supports both RIP
version 1 (RIPv1) and RIP version 2 (RIPv2).
The Dell EMC Networking OS implementation of RIP is based on IETF RFCs 2453 and RFC 1058. For more information about
configuring RIP, see the Dell EMC Networking OS Configuration Guide.
