Usage
Information
You can configure up to a maximum of four lossless (PFC) queues. By configuring four lossless queues,
you can configure four different priorities and assign a particular priority to each application that your
network is used to process. For example, you can assign a higher priority for time-sensitive applications
and a lower priority for other services, such as file transfers. You can configure the amount of buffer
space to be allocated for each priority and the pause or resume thresholds for the buffer. This method of
configuration enables you to effectively manage and administer the behavior of lossless queues.
Example
DellEMC(conf-if-te-1/1/1)# dcb-policy buffer-threshold testDellEMC(conf-if-
tf-1/1)# dcb-policy buffer-threshold test
dcb-policy buffer-threshold (Global Configuration)
Assign the dcb buffer threshold policy on the stack ports. To apply the dcb buffer threshold policy on the stack-units, use the
configuration mode. To apply on front-end ports, use the interface mode.
Syntax
dcb-policy buffer-threshold stack-unit all stack-ports all profile-name
Parameters
dcb-buffer-
threshold
Configure the profile name for the DCB buffer threshold
profile-name
Enter the name of the profile, which can be a string of up to 32 characters in
