Incoming
interface
Displays the reverse path forwarding (RPF) information towards the source for
(S,G) entries and the RP for (*,G) entries.
Outgoing
interface list:
Lists the interfaces that meet one of the following:
a directly connected member of the Group
statically configured member of the Group
received a (*,G) or (S,G) Join message

Information
Network administrators use static mroutes to control the reach-ability of the multicast sources. If a
PIM-registered multicast source is reachable using static mroute as well as unicast route, the distance of
each route is examined and the route with shorter distance is the one the PIM selects for reach-ability.
