Version Description
8.3.19.0 Introduced on the S4820T.
8.3.8.0 Introduced on the S4810.
Usage
Information
This command applies to all the VRRP interfaces on a system. When you use this command with the
vrrp delay minimum command, the later timer rules VRRP enabling. For example, if vrrp delay
reload is 600 and vrrp delay minimum is 300:
When the system reloads, VRRP waits 600 seconds (10 minutes) to bring up VRRP on all interfaces
that are up and configured for VRRP.
When an interface comes up, whether as part of a system reload or an interface reload, the system
waits 300 seconds (5 minutes) to bring up VRRP on that interface.
For the delay timers to take effect, save the configuration and reload the system.
