Routing Information Protocol (RIP)
Routing information protocol (RIP) is a distance vector routing protocol. The Dell Networking operating software supports both
RIP version 1 (RIPv1) and RIP version 2 (RIPv2).
The implementation of RIP is based on IETF RFCs 2453 and RFC 1058. For more information about configuring RIP, refer to the
Dell Networking OS Configuration Guide.
