Usage
Information
Save the new CAM settings to the startup-config (write-mem or copy run start) then reload the
system for the new settings to take effect.
The total amount of space allowed is 16 FP Blocks. System flow requires three blocks; these blocks
cannot be reallocated. Only 12 number of blocks can be configured by the user .
There can be only one odd number of Blocks in the CLI configuration; the other Blocks must be in factors
of 2. For example, a CLI configuration of 5+4+2+1+1 Blocks is not supported; a configuration of 6+4+2+1
Blocks is supported.
The ipv6acl allocation must be a factor of 2.
If allocation values are not entered for the CAM regions, the value is 0.
If you enable BMP, to perform a reload on the chassis to upgrade any configuration changes that have
changed the NVRAM content, use the command reload conditional nvram-cfg-change.
cam-acl-egress
Allocate CAM for egress ACLs.
C9000 Series
Syntax
cam-acl-egress default | l2acl number ipv4acl number ipv6acl number}
Parameters

Reset egress CAM ACL entries to default settings.

Allocate space to each CAM region.
Enter the CAM profile name then the amount of CAM space to be allotted. The
total space allocated must equal 13. The range for ipv4acl is from 1 to 4. The
ipv6acl range must be a factor of 2.
