Commands
downstream assign a port or port-channel to the uplink-state group as a downstream interface.
uplink-state-group create an uplink-state group and enables the tracking of upstream links.
downstream disable links
Configure the number of downstream links in the uplink-state group that are disabled if one upstream link in an uplink-state
group goes down.
Syntax
downstream disable links {number |all}
To revert to the default setting, use the no downstream disable links command.
Parameters
number
Enter the number of downstream links the UFD brings down. The range is from 1 to
1024.
all Brings down all downstream links in the group.
Defaults No downstream links are disabled when an upstream link in an uplink-state group goes down.

Usage
Information
When one upstream interface in an uplink-state group goes down, you can configure the number of
downstream interfaces in an uplink-state group are put into a link-down state with an UFD-Disabled error
message.
If all upstream interfaces in an uplink-state group go down, all downstream interfaces in the same
uplink-state group are put into a link-down state.
