graceful-restart role
Specify the role for your OSPF router during graceful restart.
C9000 Series
Syntax
graceful-restart role [helper-only | restart-only]
To disable graceful restart role, use the no graceful-restart role command.
Parameters
role helper-only (OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords helper-only to specify the OSPF router is a
helper only during graceful restart.
role restart-only (OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords restart-only to specify the OSPF router is a
restart only during graceful-restart.
Defaults By default, OSPF routers are both helper and restart routers during a graceful restart.

ip ospf auth-change-wait-time
OSPF provides a grace period while OSPF changes its interface authentication type. During the grace period, OSPF sends out
packets with new and old authentication scheme until the grace period expires.

Syntax
ip ospf auth-change-wait-time seconds
To return to the default, use the no ip ospf auth-change-wait-time command.
Parameters
seconds
Enter the seconds. The range is from 0 to 300.
Defaults zero (0) seconds.
