debug isis snp-packets
To debug IS-IS complete sequence number PDU (CSNP) and partial sequence number PDU (PSNP) packets, enable debugging
on a specific interface and provides diagnostic information.
C9000 Series
Syntax
debug isis snp-packets [interface][vrf vrf-name]
To turn off debugging, use the no debug isis [vrf vrf-name] snp-packets [interface]
command.
Parameters
interface
(OPTIONAL) Identifies the interface type slot/port as one of the following:
For a 1-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword GigabitEthernet then
the slot/port information.
For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet then the slot/port information.
For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword fortyGigE then the
slot/port information.
For a port channel interface, enter the keywords port-channel then a
number.
For a VLAN interface, enter the keyword vlan then a number from 1 to 4094.
vrf
vrf-name
(Optional) Enter the keyword vrf followed by the name of the VRF to enable
debugging information on ISIS for CSNP/PSNP packets tied to that VRF. The
command displays the SNP (CSNP/PSNP) related debugging information.
