Boot Command Line Interface
To access this BOOT_USER mode, first boot your Dell EMC Networking platform. When you see the Press ESC to stop
auto-boot, press the ESC key to log into BCLI
You enter BOOT_USER mode immediately, as indicated by the BOOT_USER# prompt.
NOTE: All commands in this chapter are in Boot_User mode. These commands are supported on the Dell EMC
Networking platform.
You cannot use the Tab key to complete commands in this mode.

Change the primary, secondary, or default Dell EMC Networking OS boot configuration.
Syntax
boot change {primary | secondary | default}
Parameters
primary
Enter the keyword primary to configure the boot parameters used in the first
attempt to boot Dell EMC Networking OS.
secondary
Enter the keyword secondary to configure boot parameters used if the primary
operating system boot selection is not available.
default
Enter the keyword default to configure boot parameters used if the secondary
operating system boot parameter selection is not available. You can configure this
option to any of the available type, for example flash/usb/ftp/tftp.
