Supplicant Timeout (1-65535)
— Enter the amount of time that
lapses before EAP requests are resent to the supplicant. The field
value is in seconds.
Max EAP Requests (1-10)
Enter the maximum number of EAP
requests that can be sent. If a response is not received after the defined
period (supplicant timeout), the authentication process is restarted.
Enabling Port-Based Authentication on Interfaces Using the CLI Commands

Enables user-based VLAN assignment.
Use the no form of this command to
disable user-based VLAN assignment.
dot1x guest-vlan enable
no dot1x guest-vlan enable
Enables unauthorized users on the
interface access to the guest VLAN.
Use the no form of this command to
disable access.
dot1x max-req count
no dot1x max-req
Sets the maximum number of times that
the device sends an EAP to the client,
before restarting the authentication
process.
Use the no form of this command to
restore the default configuration.
