Configuring Communities Using CLI Commands
The following table summarizes the CLI commands for setting fields in the
Community pages.
The following is an example of the CLI commands:
SNMP Notification Filters
Notification filters determine the type of SNMP notifications that are sent to
the management station, based on the OID of the notification to be sent.
Each OID is linked to a device feature or a feature aspect.
SNMP notification filters provide the following services:

snmp-server community community

Sets up the community access string
to permit access to the SNMP
protocol.
Use the no form of this command to
remove the specified community
string
snmp-server community-group
community group-name [ipv4-
address|ipv6-
address][mask|prefix-length]
[type router|oob]
no snmp-server community string
[ipv4-address|ipv6-address]
Sets up community access string to
permit limited access to the SNMP
protocol, based on group access
rights.
show snmp Displays the current SNMP device
configuration.
