3 Check Unit ID and select a unit ID to view ports on the unit, or select
LAGs to view the LAGs in the system.
4 To set GVRP for an interface, click Edit, and enter the fields:

Interface — Specifies port or LAG for editing GVRP settings.

GVRP State — Enable/disable GVRP on the interface.

Dynamic VLAN Creation — Enable/disable Dynamic VLAN creation
on the interface.
–
GVRP Registration — Enable/disable VLAN registration through
GVRP on the interface.
Configuring GVRP Using CLI Commands
The following table summarizes the CLI commands for configuring GVRP as
displayed in the GVRP Global Parameters page.

CLI Command Description
gvrp enable
no gvrp enable
In Global Configuration mode, this
command enables GVRP globally. In
Interface Configuration mode, it
enables GVRP on the interface.
Use the no form of this command to
disable GVRP on the device.
gvrp vlan-creation-forbid
no gvrp vlan-creation-forbid
Enables or disables dynamic VLAN
creation.
Use the no form of this command to
enable dynamic VLAN creation or
modification.
gvrp registration-forbid
no gvrp registration-forbid
De-registers all dynamic VLANs, and
prevents dynamic VLAN registration on
the port.
Use the no form of this command to
allow dynamic registration of VLANs on
a port.
