Example
The following example adds a description to the Ethernet g5.
speed
The
speed
interface configuration command configures the speed of a given Ethernet interface
when not using auto-negotiation. To restore the default, use the
no
form of this command.
Syntax

—Configures the port to 10 Mbps.

—Configures the port to 100 Mbps.

—Configures the port to 1000 Mbps.

User Guidelines
The command "
no speed
" in port-channel context returns each port in the port-channel to its
maximum capability.
Before attempting to force a particular duplex mode the port operating at 10/100 Mbps,
disable the auto-negotiation on that port.
