User Guidelines
The HTTPS certificate is generated using the crypto certificate generate
command in Global Configuration mode.
Example
The following example configures the active certificate for HTTPS.
console(config)#ip http secure-certificate 1
ip http secure-port
Use the ip http secure-port command in Global Configuration mode to
configure a TCP port for use by a secure web browser to configure the switch.
To use the default port, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
ip http secure-port
port-number
no ip http secure-port
Parameter Description
Default Configuration
This default port number is 443.
Command Mode
Global Configuration mode
User Guidelines
The HTTPS TCP port should not be set to a value that might conflict with
other well known protocol port numbers used on this switch.
Parameter Description
port-number
Port number for use by the secure HTTP server. (Range:
1–65535)
