lacp timeout
Use the lacp timeout command in Interface Configuration mode to assign an
administrative LACP timeout. To reset the default administrative LACP
timeout, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
lacp timeout {long | short}
no lacp timeout
long
— Specifies a long timeout value.
short
— Specifies a short timeout value.
Default Configuration
The default port timeout value is long.

Interface Configuration (Ethernet) mode
User Guidelines
This command has no user guidelines.
Example
The following example assigns an administrative LACP timeout for port 1/0/8
to a long timeout value.
console(config)#interface gigabitethernet 1/0/8
console(config-if-1/0/8)#lacp timeout long
port-channel local-preference
Use the port-channel local-preference command in Interface Config mode to
enable the local-preference mode on a port-channel (LAG) interface or range
of port-channel interfaces.
Use the no form of the command to remove the local preference.
