LED Definitions
This section describes the LEDs on the front panel of the switch and on the
optional modules that plug into the back panel.
Port LEDs
The integrated external 10/100/1000Base-T switch ports on the
PowerConnect M6220 and M6348 switches include two LEDs. The
integrated SFP+ switch ports on the PowerConnect M8024-k include one
LED.
10/100/1000Base-T Port LEDs (PowerConnect M26220 and M6348)
Each integrated external 10/100/1000Base-T port on the PCM6220 and
PCM6348 has two LEDs. Figure 3-5 illustrates the 10/100/100Base-T port
LEDs.

Table 3-1 contains port LED definitions for the integrated 10/100/1000
Base-T ports on the PowerConnect M6220 and M6348 switches.

LED Color Definition
Link LED Off There is no link.
Solid green The port is operating at 10 Gbps.
Solid amber The port is operating at 100/1000 Mbps.
Activity LED Off There is no current transmit/receive activity.
Blinking The port is actively transmitting/receiving.
