2. If a keyboard and monitor are not connected to the system, shut down the
system, connect a monitor and keyboard, and restart the system.

Checking Connectors and Switches
Loose or improperly connected cables are the most likely sources of problems for
your system. A check of all the cable connections can solve these problems.
Figure 2-1 shows the system’s back-panel connectors.
