CHAPTER 8
Installing System Board Options
This section describes how to install the following options:
• Expansion cards
• Memory modules
• Microprocessor
This section also includes instructions for replacing the system battery, if necessary.
Use Figure 8-1 to locate the system board features.
WARNING: Before you perform the procedures in this section, you must
power off the system and disconnect it from its AC power source. For more
information, see “Safety First—For You and Your System” in Chapter 7 and
the safety instructions in the System Information document that came with
your system.
