Downloading and installing the RAID controller log export by
using PERCCLI tool on ESXi hosts on Dell’s 13th generation of
PowerEdge servers
To export information about the status of the RAID controller and its attached hard drives, you can use the PERCCLI tool. To
download and install the RAID controller log export by using PERCCLI tool on ESXi hosts on Dell’s 13th generation of PowerEdge
servers, perform the following steps:
Steps
1. Download the latest verison of PERCCLI for ESX tool from https://www.dell.com/support.
2. To upload the PERCCLI tool to Datastore:
a. Select the host (1), and then click on the Configuration tab (2).
b. In the Hardware panel, select Storage (3) and right-click datastore1.

3. To enable Secure Socket Shell (SSH) select host (1), and then click on the Configuration tab (2). In the Software panel,
select Security Profile (3). In Services, click Properties (4) at the upper-right corner of the screen.
