Air Baffle
Removing the Air Baffle
CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You
should only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your
product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and
support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not
covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came
with the product.
1. Remove the system-board assembly. See “Removing a System-
Board Assembly" on page 172.
2. When removing the air baffle for 2U node, the expansion-card
assembly for 2U node must be removed first. See Figure 3-25.
3. Press the four latches along the direction of the arrows, and then
lift the air baffle out of the system-board assembly. See Figure 3-
16.
NOTE:
Contact technical support to add the service tag of the system board to
match the service tag of the physical node.
