222 | Removing and Installing System Components
Removing the Riser card for 2U Node
CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You
should only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your
product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and
support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not
covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came
with the product.
NOTE:
Both 1.5U riser card and 2U riser card can be supported in the 2U-node
system.
1. Remove the system-board assembly. See “Removing a System-
Board Assembly" on page 172.
2. Remove the expansion card. See “Removing the Expansion Card
for 2U Node” on page 191.
3. Turn the expansion-card bracket upward as shown in Figure 3-
47 and Figure 3-48.
