Removing the riser card
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
3. Remove the expansion card riser assembly.
4. If installed, remove the expansion card.
Steps
1. Using the Phillips #2 screwdriver, remove the screws that secure the riser card to the expansion card bracket.
2. Lift the riser card away from the expansion card bracket.
