Removing the cable cover
CAUTION:
Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You should only perform
troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your product documentation, or as directed by the online or
telephone service and support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by
your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the product.
1. Turn off the nodes using the operating system commands, or the iDRAC, or the CMC.
The sled is powered off when all the nodes are turned off.
2. Remove the sled from the enclosure.
3. Press the release latch on the cooling shroud, at the back of the cable cover, to disengage the cover from the shroud.
4. Slide the cable cover toward the back of the sled.
5. Holding the cable cover by the edges, lift it up from the cooling shroud.
