Aggregator Management
This chapter explains the different protocols or services used to manage an Aggregator including:
• Logging
• Disabling System Logging
• File Transfer Services
• Terminal Lines
• Telnet to Another Network Device
• Recovering from a Forgotten Password
• Recovering from a Forgotten Enable Password
• Recovering from a Failed Start
Logging
FTOS tracks changes in the system using event and error messages. By default, FTOS logs these messages
on:
• the internal buffer
• console and terminal lines
• any configured syslog servers
Log Messages in the Internal Buffer
All error messages, except those beginning with %BOOTUP (Message), are logged in the internal buffer.
