1. Press the system power switch to turn off the system.
2. Remove the blades.
3. Remove the bezel.
4. Remove the two screws securing the control panel to the enclosure.
5. Press the catch at each end of the control-panel cable connector, and remove the control-panel cable from the underside of the
control panel.
6. Use the pull-tab to disconnect the LCD panel cable from the underside of the control panel.

Installing The Control Panel
CAUTION:
Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You should only perform troubleshooting and
simple repairs as authorized in your product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and
support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by your warranty. Read and follow
the safety instructions that came with the product.
1. Connect the LCD panel cable to the new control panel.
2. Connect the control panel cable to the underside of the new control panel.
3. Reinstall the control panel using the two screws.
4. Reinstall the bezel.
5. Install the blades.
