Removing the intrusion switch

Prerequisites

1. Ensure that you follow the Safety instructions.

2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.

3. Keep the plastic scribe ready.

Steps

1. Disconnect the intrusion switch cable from the connector on the system board.

2. Using the plastic scribe, slide the intrusion switch out of the intrusion switch slot.
